- If the RAR volumes are not using the RAR 3.0 file naming style, then the files will have extensions of the type: //.r**00**//, //.r**01**//, ... //.r**nn**// (where **nn** is the highest number among the archive's volumes) but there will also be a file with the extension //**.rar**//.
